Wedding Day Tips: 5 Easy and Practical Wedding Day Tips For The Bride

Every bride has lots of things to think about when she’s planning her wedding, but so many tend to forget about taking care of themselves on the day of their wedding. And it’s important that those small, but mighty, details not escape even the most well prepared bride!

What should be at the TOP of every bride’s list on the day of her wedding is to relax and enjoy it! Whether you’ve been working with a wedding consultant or have done all the planning and preparation on your own, it’s now the big day and you deserve to have at least as much fun as any of your guests.

Here are 5 simple, but practical tips to help pave the way to truly enjoying your wedding day:

1. Making Up is (not) Hard to Do - Create a Wedding Day Make-Up Bag

Two weeks before the wedding, do a complete test of your wedding-day look (make-up, hairdo and shoes) - for as long as you expect to have it together that day so you’ll know if it will “go the distance.” Put together a little make-up bag for touch ups that you can take along with you the day of the wedding to keep you looking your best. And on the big day, have a friend, bridesmaid or family member hang on to it or stash it somewhere handy so you can get to it when you need it. Be sure to use waterproof mascara, and don’t forget to pack the hairspray!

Hint: When purchasing your make-up, see if you can persuade the sales gal at the cosmetic counter into giving you samples of everything you’re buying (they’ve got ‘em, you know they do) They won’t take up much room and it will be more than enough for the day!

2. Wedding Day “Emergency” Kit - Create an Emergency Kit For Those Unexpected Emergencies

Just like the back-up, make-up bag for touch ups (say that three times fast!), consider an “emergency kit” filled with items you may need on your wedding day. Fill a small bag with items such as a travel size sewing kit (you’d be amazed at the magic tricks just one safety pin can perform), clear nail polish (for panty hose/stocking runs), an extra set of panty hose or stockings, throat lozenges and aspirin. Other ideas for the “emergency kit” include tissues, breath mints, tampons, hand cream and band-aids.

Hint: Most of these items can be found in the travel size bins in your local drug store.

3. Food for Thought - Start Your Wedding Day With Healthy & Filling Nourishment

Since most brides don’t get to enjoy the meal served at the reception, you really should consider having something to eat before the wedding, no matter how worried you are about how the dress fits!

While food may be the last thing on your mind on your wedding day, it’s nonetheless important that you start the day with some healthy and filling nourishment. It’s going to be a long (and wonderful) day and you’ll want to have plenty of energy so you can keep dancing and socializing for hours!

Hint #1: Stash a power bar snack in your purse or “emergency kit”

Hint #2: Pre-arrange for there to be something to eat at your honeymoon hotel (believe it or not, most couples are starving after the wedding day festivities and will want to re-fuel before the wedding night festivities!)

4. If the Shoe Fits - Kick Off The Heels & Settle Into a More Comfortable Shoe

You know those stunning, sexy, strappy, ultra-high heels that work perfectly with your wedding gown? They’ll be great for the ceremony and for the formal pictures, but if you’re planning to kick up your heels at the reception, you’ll be better off kicking off the heels and settling into something more comfortable. So get a pretty, more practical pair of shoes that you can change into to keep your dogs from “barking” the entire week after the wedding!

Hint #1: It’s not a bad idea to practice walking in the shoes you’ll be wearing during the ceremony. Take a test run in the shoes AND the wedding gown and get used to both.

Hint #2: Kenneth Cole Reaction makes a snappy little flat, beaded thong that is heavenly comfy, inexpensive and just fancy enough to go with your gown. I’ve got a pair in bronze and black (and they come in white as well) that I carry with me everywhere. Not a bad gift for your bridesmaids either!

5. Point It Out To A “Point Person” - Keep Track of Time With An Itinerary & a Point Person

Whether you’ve worked with a wedding consultant or carefully planned everything yourself, you should have an itinerary for the big day. Make copies, give them to a few good friends and/or close family members, then choose someone to be the “point person” who will make sure things are running smoothly and reasonably on time. You will be able to rest easily knowing at least one of your deputies will keep track of the time while you’re busy greeting those out-of-town guests and brand new in-laws whose names you can’t quite remember!

Unique Approach To Voting During The Upcoming Election

Decisions, decisions! Here comes another election. You know it’s getting close when you get the sample ballot in the mail. And of course there are the signs in the yards, the newspaper ads, and direct mailings. Another indication that the election is near is the amount of TV and radio advertising and the intensity of the messages. More of the ads seem to be negative the closer to Election Day.

Those of you who are loyal to one party have no difficulty choosing which candidate to vote for in the election - it’s one party all the way. Other people may be more thoughtful in their choices. The pre-election polls refer to the other people as undecided.

And then there are the numerous propositions to consider. The County Recorder sends out a thick pamphlet with all the information you care or didn’t care to know about the proposition and the candidates. The sample ballot makes it easier by summarizing what a vote yes or no for a particular proposition would mean. Even some of the best sounding propositions are so poorly written that it may be best not to vote for them.

If you are someone who doesn’t vote and doesn’t care, or has firm loyalty to only one party, then this article is not for you, however, one way or another, the decisions that are made for candidates or propositions will affect you.

So how to do cut through the ads and media coverage to make the best decision? Getting information is a good first step. Some of the information that’s available may be biased to one view or another. Maybe…. it’s more likely the information is biased.

Most of the time I’d say you can trust your intuition or your gut feeling about a candidate or proposition. However the ads that are designed to appeal to the emotions can cloud your reasoning and intuition. So what do you do then? Who do you trust?

What if there was a quick method for asking questions so you could be happy with your voting selections? What if there was a way to determine the level of honesty of a candidate?

Yes, of course it’s only one vote per candidate or proposition and maybe your vote wasn’t or won’t be for the winning one. The important thing is for you to feel good about your voting.

Here’s one solution. You can use the ancient art of dowsing to find the best candidate for the office or to make the best choice for proposition voting. Why dowsing? Dowsing when done correctly enables you to find the truth about the candidates or propositions.

Here’s how you use dowsing appropriately. First you establish a connection with a higher power (be it God, higher self, spirit guides or angels). Then you learn how to use a pendulum, which is quick and easy. It’s simple to make one even with a piece of thread and paperclip.

Next you determine that the horizontal swing of the pendulum device would mean no and the vertical would mean yes. Also it is advisable to draw a simple chart that would show the percentage or on a scale of one to ten response. A simple chart can be drawn with a right angle or “L” shaped lines on a page and mark zero (0) at the top and ten (10) at the bottom. All the numbers in between zero to ten could be marked in hash marks.

Now it’s time to formulate some simple yes and no response questions. It’s always good to start out with test questions on answers you know to be true such as asking your own name or birth date. For example to get a yes response ask the question with the correct information (is my name Fred? if your name is Fred then you would get a yes response). And to get a no response you could ask if you are 10 ft tall or something like that (or something else you know to be false).

Here are some questions you can use for making voting decisions. Is this candidate the best choice for this office? On a scale of one to ten, one being the lowest and ten being the highest, what is the level of honesty of this candidate? What is the level of greed for this candidate? Is this media ad true about this candidate or proposition? What percent of this ad is true? For percentages you could make a similar chart to the one for a scale of one to ten or use a half circle marking the percentage increments by ten. (Hint - a protractor like the one’s you used in grade school are ideal for drawing a half circle.)

You can also ask questions about the propositions. Is the information in the summary on the sample ballot accurate? Would this proposition benefit me? Is the wording of this proposition clear and easy to interpret so if it does become law it will maintain the proposition’s intent?

In his book, Improve Your Life Through Dowsing, David Schultz explains his approach to using dowsing to select the best candidate and whether to vote for or against an issue. He had his High Self research from his criteria that included honesty, ethics, knowledge and a willingness to serve the public. He used his sample ballot and his pendulum to point to the name of the candidate that fit those criteria. He also relates that propositions can be confusing and uses his High Self research the pros and cons and whether the propositions are best for the people.

You could even experiment with predicting the outcome of the elections as suggested in Taming the Wild Pendulum by Dr. Tag Powell and Dr. Judith Powell. Their method involved writing the names of the candidates for one particular office on a small piece of paper and turned them over and mixing them up on a table. They then asked which one would become the next (president). They maintained their neutrality with using dowsing to determine the outcome and got it right.

Asking questions and using dowsing to find your answers is a powerful combination.

How To Host The Perfect Cocktail Party

A popular thing to do nowadays is to host cocktail parties. These are a great way for people to get together and talk while having a nice formal atmosphere. The following will explain how to host a cocktail party that will be talked about around the office for weeks.

The most important thing for any cocktail party is the drinks. These should range from alcoholic drinks to non-alcoholic and mixers drinks. Consider stocking the following drink types:

- Good white and red wines with some champagne.

- Gin, scotch, whiskey, vodka, bourbon, and sometime rum (depending on climate conditions).

- Draft beer and some foreign beer are always appreciated.

- Mixers such as juices, coke, ginger ale, and club soda. Also, serve some bottled water and sparkling water.

Make sure you have all the correct glasses for the different drinks. Being able to present each drink in the right setting and glass is very important for a successful cocktail party.

Another important thing to consider is keeping some fresh fruit around for the drinks. A lot of people enjoy having a lemon or lime wedge with their drinks and will greatly appreciate it if it’s provided.

Hors d’oeuvres are good to have with any party. Besides the specialized dishes you should consider some general plates. These include:

- A good fruit plate with fresh fruit is great to have on the table. When you do these go ahead and cut up apples, pears, and those types of fruits so that people won’t have to do it themselves.

- Crackers, cheese, and meat can be put together on one plate. Be sure to stock a few different brands of meats and cheeses to provide some flavor and character to the plate.

- A vegetable plate with ranch dip is a cheap and great addition to any Hors d’oeuvres table.

While you can host a cocktail party on the spur of the moment it’s recommended that you send people a hand written invitation. This makes them feel good about being invited and will help entice them to come. Remember, make sure to add a RSVP on the note so that you can figure out who is coming and who isn’t.

How To Help Cancer Charities With Your Credit Card

Shopping, meals and holidays are just some of the items we put on our credit cards. But credit card spending does not have to be selfish. Credit card holders can use their credit cards to support worthwhile causes such as charities.

There are several ways of doing this. Credit card owners can donate to different charities using their credit cards or they can choose a charity credit card to give their chosen charity a donation every time they spend.

How Charity Cards Work

Most charity cards donate in two ways. The first is a lump sum donation given to a charity when someone first takes out a charity card. Additional lump sums may be donated if people keep the card or continue to spend on the credit card.

The second method is to donate a percentage of the money spent by the cardholder to the chosen charity. This can range from 0.25% to 1% of the amount spent, depending on the deal and the card chosen.

Giving To Cancer Charities

Cancer is a major killer in industrialised nations and so it is hardly surprising that a number of charities have launched their own credit cards to help their charity efforts. Many of these are supported by large banks.

Cancer Research UK is the UK’s largest cancer charity. The organisation’s credit card is supported by Halifax and works like other Halifax cards. There is no annual fee and the card offers a low balance transfer fee for six months. Halifax donates 0.25% of money spent on the card to Cancer Research UK.

Another cancer charity has raised £1,000,000 with its charity card. The Breakthrough Breast Cancer Charity Card is sponsored by MBNA. The purchase donation is the same as that offered by the Cancer Research credit card. However, MBNA also offers an additional donation for online applications.

Other Ways Of Giving To Charity

Charity credit cards work well for those who spend regularly on their credit cards. A donation rate of 0.25% means that 25 pence of every £100 spent goes to the charity. Some people may find that donating the proceeds of a cash back credit card (which gives more than 0.5% of annual spending in a lump sum each year) may be another good way to help a charity.

Shopping Around

As with other credit cards it is worth looking around for the best credit card deals for charity cards. Many charity cards offer 0% balance transfer rates and purchase rates for fixed periods. Some offer low standard interest rates as well.

There are many websites that offer comparisons of credit cards and charity credit cards. The sites look at balance transfer and purchase rates, introductory offers, standard interest rates and other incentives for credit card buyers. Shopping around allows people to get the best deal for themselves and still contribute to a good cause.

Achieving Financial Freedom: Refinance to a 15 year Mortgage

Interest rates are rising. News reports tell of increasing home sales and mortgage foreclosures. You’re financially stable, but are keeping an eye on interest rates. A great way to save money on interest is to refinance to a 15 year mortgage. Of course, your payments will be higher, but in the long run, you will a considerable amount of money on interest. .

Loan Term Determines Interest Savings

If you’ve had your home for a few years, and want to refinance a 15 year fixed rate mortgage can give you peace of mind along wit significant savings. Your loan will be fully amortized, and the interest rate will not be subject to adjustment. Your principal and interest payment (P & I) will be consistent. Here’s an example of how much you can save by converting from a 30 year mortgage to a 15 year mortgage.

Let’s say you’ve got a 30 year mortgage at 6.00%. Your original mortgage amount was $300,000. You want to refinance for the original amount to pay off lingering credit card and consumer debt, and are considering a 15 year mortgage loan. Your payments on the 15 year loan will be $2531.57, a difference of $732.92. Sure, that is a much higher payment, but depending on the amount of debt you refinance, you will have some extra cash available to meet the payments. Before you decide that the payments are too high, consider that you will save approximately $209,293 in interest compared to a 30 year loan at the same rate!

Refinancing: Part of the Big Picture

Everyone has a unique financial situation, goals, and priorities. If you’re considering a mortgage refinance, it’s wise to consider your entire financial situation including debts, anticipated needs, savings for college and retirement, and your present and future income. Consult your financial advisor to develop a plan that meets your needs now and in the future. Refinancing to a 15 year mortgage can be part of your overall financial plan.

How to Make Shopping For Low Cost Family Health Insurance Less Painful

Shopping for low cost family health insurance does not have to be an overwhelming process. Granted, it’s no day at the beach; but if done with some careful planning, the process can be less painful.

First, it’s important to understand the jargon. That is, a family health insurance policy is actually an individual policy, as opposed to a group policy, that has been issued for a family. Therefore, when shopping for low cost health insurance for your family, you’re actually searching for an individual policy that will be issued for you and your family.

Second, when shopping for low cost health insurance, it is important to realize that there are ways to keep costs down.

For example, if your family is generally healthy, you may want to choose higher out-of-pocket options for items such as deductible, copayments, and coinsurance. By doing so, you can expect to see a significant reduction in your premiums.

Another way to reduce your health insurance costs is to pay your premiums annually. Since it requires a significant initial payment, this may not be a realistic option for some. Nevertheless, if you can afford to prepay your premiums, you may be able to avoid paying service fees and possibly realize a prepayment discount. Be sure to ask your insurance agent about this possibility.

In addition, you may want to think twice about buying supplemental health insurance. In many cases, supplemental insurance offers coverage for items that are already included in your main plan. If you think you way need a supplemental health policy, be sure to discuss this with your agent thoroughly before making any final decisions.

Third, and last, whether you’re just trying to get the best deal for health insurance and finances are not a significant limiting factor, or price is a significant limiting factor, you should know is that the health insurance industry in the U.S. is heavily regulated. While regulations may vary from one state to another, health insurance premiums are regulated by each state Department of Insurance.

What this means to you is that you will pay the same monthly premium for the same plan whether you buy from a local agent, an Internet company, or the insurance company itself. Logically then, the best way to end up with the policy best suited for you and your situation is to obtain and then review multiple health insurance quotes.

Shopping for low cost family health insurance can be quite a shock for the unprepared. So, to be ready, educate yourself by using the volumes of information available on the Internet. Look for ways to keep costs to a minimum, such as prepaying premiums, selecting a higher deductible, and not purchasing insurance you will not use, . By working smarter, not harder, you will be maximizing your odds of ending up with a quality and affordable health insurance plan.

Jonathon James has been working in the health insurance industry for nearly twenty years. For additional tips and information about low cost family health insurance, please be sure to visit LearningAboutHealthInsurance.com http://LearningAboutHealthInsurance.com .

My Favorite Books on Book Marketing and Promotion Every Author Must Read

As a book marketing guy and book publicist it’s imperative for me to keep up with all of the great books and magazine articles being published on the topic of book marketing.

I’ve read dozens and dozens of books on book marketing and usually have found a morsel or two of useful information in each one. Here’s a list of my favorites. By the way, I’ve personally met or have spoken to each author and can attest to the veracity of the material they present and their credentials to discuss these topics.

PyroMarketing. Book marketing professionals know the secrets of success that drove the sales of Rick Warren’s The Purpose Driven Life to a chart-busting best-seller and Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of the Christ” into a huge cinema phenom. Those of us in the business understand that sales of both blockbusters were driven by techniques outlined in a book called PyroMarketing by Greg Stielstra who gained fame in book publishing circles when he served as the marketing director for The Purpose Driven Life, the best-selling hardcover book in history.

PyroMarketing embraces an idea that really has been in use for some time - niche marketing. That tool is well-known and used every day by book promoters but Stielstra lays out the niche marketing principles with a new, crystal clear message that is so compelling that it is a must-read for anyone who wants to promote an idea, service or product. Read my in-depth review and watch a short entertaining video on the concept at: www.westwindcos.com. Buy it at: www.pyromarketing.com.

The Web-Savvy Writer: Book Promotion with a High-Tech Twist

This is an excellent “how to” book on the ins and outs of online book promotion and publicity focusing on the latest technology. Author Patrice-Anne Rutledge is a bestselling author, successful technology journalist, and online book promotion expert who has utilized online marketing techniques extensively to promote her books and writing career. Patricia plows new ground filling the gap in the book promotion marketplace with her highly focused book on bringing technology to the forefront in a book marketing campaign. “Web-Savvy Writer” is a MUST read if you want to utilize the most cost effective and viral methods in promoting your book like blogs, pay per click advertising, online reviews, ezines and more. After reading a few chapters you’ll soon realize what you don’t know about online marketing could fill volumes. She’s truly brilliant. Buy the online version of the book as it has hundreds of clickable links at: www.websavvywriter.com

John Kremer’s “1001 Ways To Market Your Books”

His 6th Edition published in 2006 describes more than 1000 ideas, tips, and suggestions for marketing books - all illustrated with real-life examples showing how other authors and publishers have marketed their books. John, who is a walking encyclopedia about book marketing says, “Eighty percent of all books are sold by word of mouth, but it’s publicity that primes the marketing pump. Remember that you cannot do everything, so hire the right persons to do the things you can’t do. If you’re not comfortable doing your own publicity, then hire someone who does it for a living. I could not have said it better. Be sure to check out his seminars on book marketing held around the U.S. too. Find out about that and his book at: www.bookmarket.com

Author! Screenwriter! How to Succeed as a Writer in New York and Hollywood

I always enjoy talking with Peter Miller, President, PMA Literary Film and Management, Inc. He’s one of the “big” agents in New York City. Known as ‘The Literary Lion,’ he has successfully managed over 1,000 books and dozens of motion picture and television properties. From big names like Vincent Bugliosi to the “next big star” he’s had eleven New York Times bestsellers and eleven produced films that he has managed or executive produced. He likes to do “three book deals” once he gets a writer he likes. In addition, he has a substantial number of film and television projects currently in active development. He divides his time between New York and Los Angeles, and frequently tours the country to speak at writers’ conferences and workshops. His insight into the publishing world and Hollywood is priceless. Buy his book, but if you can see him in person do it and tell him I said hi! www.pmalitfilm.com.

I strongly recommend the purchase of MAXIMUM EXPOSURE Marketing System Book Marketing Training Program for Publishers and Authors by Tami DePalma and Kim Dushinski. This is a very well written resource that teaches authors all about marketing their book. For example they have a complete list of reviewers you can send your book to, sample timelines, lists of distributors and much more. You can stay on top of the changes in the market too as they keep it updated on their web site and blog. Believe me, if it’s not in here it’s not important. Buy it at: www.MX-TheMatrix.com.

Since understanding all of the money making opportunities with your book can be a daunting task, I also recommend that you purchase Jim Donovan’s How to Write, Publish & Sell Your Book and Turn it Into a Never-ending Money Machine. His system will teach you the inner workings of the book business and how to leverage your books so they generate substantial multiple streams of income long after they’ve been published. Jim Donovan’s books have been published in eighteen countries and are being read by hundreds of thousands of people throughout the world so he knows what he’s talking about. www.writepublishsellyourbook.com

Free Book! That’s right, Midpoint Trade Books, a major book distributor has published an excellent handbook which features seven keys that are important for independent publishers to understand and master. If you want a quick read on everything you need to know about publishing, printing, editing, marketing and distributing your book then this is the one. The importance of using a book marketing professional is stressed by author Eric Kampmann, President of Midpoint Trade Books. The 7 Keys To Publishing Success can be downloaded at no charge at: www.midpointtrade.com

Here’s a Very Expensive Book… but well worth the price. Its called “The Insider’s Guide to Large Quantity Book Sales.” Quite literally exactly what the title implies. BTW, we’re talking thousands of books at a time! Do I have your attention? You’ll be very impressed by the insight provided in the material about selling your book in large numbers. You have useful contact information for book club buyers and more importantly how to pitch and position your book for consideration. It also has sample contracts and agreements which are easily worth hundreds of dollars in saved legal fees alone if you had your attorney draft the documents. Written and published by the Jenkins Group Inc, this book is the result of years of the author, Jerrold Jenkins, publishing and selling massive quantities of books. Brian Jud’s “Beyond The Bookstore” is a terrific book about selling your book to everyone else other than a bookstore. I met Brian while co-presenting on a panel at a Learning Annex seminar in NYC on the topic of book marketing. I covered the topic of book publicity, he covered selling books. Brian Jud says since more than half of all book sales come from outside bookstores it’s important to target these markets. Mass merchandisers such as Wal-Mart or Costco, gift shops, airport stores, home-shopping networks, book clubs, libraries, network-marketing companies, catalogs, associations, government agencies, corporations, educational markets, retail stores and military branches all buy and sell books.

Brian walks you through creating a special sales plan, where to find the people you need to contact to make your pitch. If you really want to sell books outside the bookstore market then buy Beyond the Bookstore at: www.bookmarketingworks.com

There are many books out there on the topic of book marketing, book publishing and just plain everyday business marketing in general. You can read the ones I’ve described above but unless you want to spend days and weeks learning about book marketing, you might find it useful to retain an expert on book marketing or hire an experienced book publicist. I am sure that after you read two or three of these you’ll seriously question the idea of self promotion.

Why? The reason is that today’s book market is extremely competitive. The world is awash in books. Bowker (The keeper of all ISBNs) says that in 2005 more than 172,000 books were published in the United States, plus 206,000 published in the UK. How can Borders, Barnes and Noble, Amazon, your local library or anyone else effectively sell or showcase that number let alone the millions of previously printed titles? The answer: They can’t.

Furthermore, I do not recommend self-promotion, for the same reason you don’t cut your own hair. You can do it, but it’s not going to be that good. Book marketing and book promotion requires special skills and most authors simply do not know how to market a book nor do they have the time or, more importantly, the patience. A publicist develops and nurtures relationships with writers, editors and producers so they trust us when we give them a story idea about a book or author.

The bottom line: While I do recommend these books as a basis for understanding the book marketing and book promotion process a wise author would be even wiser to retain a book publicist to market and promote their book. If you come to the same conclusion please by all means give me a call!

Saving money on your mortgage

Shopping around for mortgages is so popular these days that many people can be excused for thinking that switching lenders is the only way to save money on your home loan. But there is a much easier way that does not require phone calls, computers connected to the internet, or trips to your bank or building society.

Did you know, for instance, that making overpayments on your mortgage can slash thousands of pounds off your interest bill? Additionally, it will cut the length of time taken to repay your home loan so you get to own your home sooner.

Imagine, say, that you have a £100,000 repayment mortgage, with a 25-year term and an interest rate of 6%. Your monthly payments will be £644, and after 25 years you will have paid back a total of £193,290. In other words you will have paid back £1.93 for every pound borrowed.

If, however, you were to overpay your mortgage by just £50 each month, your total payment would be reduced to £177,279 — a saving of over sixteen grand in interest. Furthermore, this overpayment shortens the length of the mortgage by 45 months, which means almost four extra years of bliss.

Its is worth being prudent though and ensuring that your will not be penalised by your lender for changing your standing order or making overpayment. In the main, most flexible mortgage lenders will allow you to make overpayments of up to 10% each year. But if your lender doesn’t allow this, you have another trick up your sleeve!

Lessening the term of your mortgage from 25 years to 21 years would increase your payments in exactly the same way as overpaying by £50 each month. Mind you, this is a much harsher way to do it because payments are fixed. However, it doesn’t prevent you from increasing your term again, should you need to, by simply writing to your provider.

At the end of the day, paying off your mortgage early is simply the best and least risky ways of saving money. By making overpayments to your mortgage of around 6%, your money would be working harder than if you had invested it into a savings account with 7% earnings.5% for a basic-rate taxpayer. For a higher-rate taxpayer, this risk-free and tax-free rate is equivalent to 10%, which is practically unbeatable!

Many people forget that even though we sign up for a 25-year mortgage term there is no earthly reason why we have to stick to this. If you have any extra cash each month, using it against your mortgage can make a huge difference and it can save you thousands of pounds in interest each year.

Good luck on removing that mortgage millstone from around your neck!
